First, the area will be cleansed. Depending on the treatment plan, some patients may receive a numbing gel on the targeted area, especially if it’s sensitive. It’ll take about 30 to 60 minutes for the numbing gel to work before the laser hair removal treatment continues.
Protective eyewear is worn during the procedure due to the intense laser used during treatment. The length of the session depends on the size of the area being treated. If the targeted area is small, like on the upper lip, treatment can be completed in a couple of minutes. If it’s on a large area like the back or legs, it can last an hour or more.

Results are long-lasting and even though hair might regrow, they’re finer and lighter than before. For optimal results, occasional touch-up sessions are often recommended.
Is there downtime or any side effects?
There is no downtime after the treatment. It’s possible to experience slight redness and swelling in the treated area after the session. However, these effects will go away within a few hours. It’s highly recommended to avoid exposure to direct sunlight on treated areas. Sunscreen is a must for a couple of weeks before and after a session.
How many treatments will I need?
Treatment plans will be customized for each individual depending on their preferences, needs, and goals. However, 4 to 6 sessions is usually the recommended number of treatments for optimal results.
